School For Improvisation
SIM is a great school and resource for those interested in new improvisation-based music run by trumpeter Ralph Alessi. I attended during the NYC blackout of 2003. A memorable time. Jam sessions by candlelight with Ravi Coltrane, et al. Amazing.
